Santa Fe Photographs and Recap

Well I finally got home, loaded my kitchen with groceries, sent my husband off to another rig, took a deep breath and got to editing these photos. We have over 500, but I'll spare you the "vacation slides" and show you my favorites.

We started off by stopping in Roswell to grab some lunch at the UFO Mcdonalds but we had forgotten about the hour time difference so they served us some breakfast instead!

Then once we got to Santa Fe, we checked into our hotel and cruised around town. We found a nice pizza joint and had a great view of the mountains the whole time we ate. It was fantastic. The second day we were there we found more great places to eat and walked The Plaza all day. I bought two blankets, jewelry, and we toured the New Mexico History Museum, as well as the Governor's Mansion. The second full day we drove up the Bandolier National Monument and had a blast. We walked the miles of trails and climbed into the ancient homes of Native Americans. We also climbed up the 3 ladders totaling 140+ feet to get the great view of the Alcove House (second to the last photograph). If you've never done something as exhilarating as that, I highly suggest you visit the National Forest. It's outside Los Alamos, which we visited as well. Los Alamos is a smallish town which houses the nuclear history museum. We highly recommend it as well.

Enjoy our photos!
